writing
Everyone enjoys a great story. But there’s just something about translating it to paper or screen that frustrates, scares and escapes most people. I should know. I’m one of them!
Where it all began
As a kid, I wanted nothing more than to be a cartoonist. By middle school, it became readily apparent that my illustration skills left something to be desired. In high school, Wichita’s finest English, History and Humanities teachers raised the writing bar, even if it meant lowering my pride.
What I’m writing now
Whether writing for a professor or a paycheck, the process still terrifies and thrills. Below are a few of the pieces I’ve written over the years. I’m pulling together some of my travel writing for public consumption. In the meantime, these will have to get you by.
Aside from blogging and copywriting for a couple of sites, I’d like to draft a few small scripts for short (1-3 minute) films. If you want to lend a hand, I’m all for collaborative storytelling!
If you have any other questions about my writing or writing at large, just let me know!
