It seems odd to have a page “About Me” on a website that is already about me. But here we go…

Beginning

I grew up in Wichita, Kansas. My family had an old farmhouse and barn in the middle of the city, which allowed my two brothers and me to get up to all kinds of things that normal kids couldn’t. Between all of the animals and outdoor hobbies, I never had a chance to say “I’m bored”.

Schooling

My love of music, art and architecture knows no bounds. But I’m just as fascinated by the other force that drives it all: business. Thinking I could strike a balance between art and business, I studied international business and Italian literature at the University of Kansas followed by another stint at Boston University for an international MBA.

Working

I work as a Digital Marketing Manager with BusinessEarth, which keeps me pretty busy. I still take on freelance projects when evenings and weekends allow. I don’t really see these kinds of projects as “work” in the traditional sense. Side projects offer an incredible opportunity to stretch outside your normal job description and find insights you never would have had otherwise.

Being
